The Straight Razor Master

I am Daniël van der putten, ambassador of Brent Berkeley.
My profession is archeo barber, with a specialization in shaving. An archaeo-barber does research on the profession of hairdresser/barber through the ages, both in the field, and in archives. During my work as an archaeo-barber I regularly come across interesting antique treatment methods which I try out in the field, and where possible adapt to meet modern salon requirements. Often, this results in unique treatment methods that are not offered anywhere else in the world in that form, and which I then train to barber/hairdressers in the Netherlands and Belgium.


Recently I became a trainer for the Italian razor brand Cella milano, and for my training sessions on the original open razor I work together with Brent Berkeley. For Brent Berkeley I can be booked for a training course original open razor for individuals as well as professionals. During this training I teach you to use the knife but more importantly, to maintain it. So that you have the necessary skills to use a classic open razor for the rest of your life.
